Marketsmith,  Can you explain how volume is complied on the charts.  Volume changes throughout the evening on both indexes and individual charts.  I understand that.  There is a time lag for it all to get completed and compliled..  But I have a few questions:

At what time does the volume stop changing?

Do you include after-hours volume in the charts?

If so, I would think that that skews things?  Example DECK:  Was up today in the marketsmith charts on above average volume.  But if you look at Leaderboard, they obviously include the after hours trade on their charts and the stock was down huge on big volume.

It seems to me if you include after-hours volume in the charts.  It should be on the chart of the next day?

So please explain how and when volume is added to the charts. Thanks, Don

@dthomas240:  The volume for indexes and stocks updates until 1:15pm PST.   We then get an after-hours feed at 5:00 PST and this volume is added to the current day.
