How and where does MarketSmih save and recall the custom moving averages settings selected by the user?

MarketSmith will occasionally reset to "None" the custom moving averages selection(s) (e.g. 10 and 20 dma's) after "apply changes" was clicked in the Chart Tools dialog box; logging out; then logging back into the next MarketSmith session.

Are the custom moving averages setting saved on the server side or on the local computer being used?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  MarketSmith is designed to store your settings and preferences on servers, similar to how your settings are stored in Daily Graphs Online.  If you have noticed an issue with your Custom Moving Average preferences not being stored from one login session to the next, then this is definitely an issue that we'll look into.  Please check back on our Technical Issues forums for updates on fixes.
