I am trying to find out stocks which fell more then 5% last week so I used the screener "% Price is up in the current week" and set the max limit to -5%.
I know there were a ton of stocks which well more then -5% this week but the screener does not seem to be working for any value less then 0%. Is this designed only for gains and not for declines in stocks ?
I did a quick screen for stocks with a "% Price is up in the current week" with a value for max limit @ -5%. It came back with 10 stocks, all junk. None had any shares change on Friday's close - so they had no value for Friday's close.
.
That criteria is defined as "The amount, in percentage, a stocks price has increased from last Friday's close to the intraday price." It is not the % chg for the past 5 trading days, but from Fiday's close. So on Monday, it will give you the % chg from last Friday, on Tuesday it gives you the % chg from last Friday's close. On Saturday, it gives you the change from last Friday's close, yesterday, which should be 0%.
