While the S&P 500 & the Nasdaq Comp are both up 3/4's of a percent & @ old highs (as of writing) my Down on Heavy Volume screen (set for leading characteristics) picked up a lot of leading names trading 100% vol% change vs 50 Day:

  • UA
  • ESRX
  • TZOO
  • NFLX
  • SLW
  • APKT
  • IL
  • SINA
  • OPEN

It did come as a surprise to see some stocks a follow down as much having first looked at the indexes.

I did think it was distribution at first but then I see strength else where.  Some rotation could be taking place.

Also things do get funny close to previous highs and prior fed

Being alert  is the key
